With flavors like mango and strawberry cheesecake – along with sexually suggestive social media posts – the allure of vape pens, or e-cigarettes, has drawn a new generation of non-smokers into a life-long addiction and in some cases, severe illness and death. Billed as a healthy alternative to smoking, vaping has landed more than 1,600 in hospitals and dozens into early graves. The epidemic has spread like vaping clouds across the country, from Seattle to Tampa, San Diego to Indianapolis and Washington DC, Minneapolis to Denver, and down across the Lonestar State.
