1 man dead in home disturbance, 1 person in custody, Multnomah County's Sheriff's Office says

When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from significant injuries to his neck. Despite life-saving efforts, he died. One person has been placed in custody.

PORTLAND, Oregon — A disturbance at a home in northwest Multnomah County left one man dead early Monday morning. Another man is in custody.

At approximately 1:15 a.m., deputies from the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) responded to a disturbance involving a weapon at a home near the 18000 block of Northwest 6th Avenue in northwest Multnomah County, in the Folkenberg area off Northwest Cornelius Pass Road.

When deputies arrived, they found a 44-year-old man suffering from significant injuries to his neck. Despite life-saving efforts, the man died at the scene, MCSO said. 

A 42-year-old man remained at the scene and was taken into custody. No identities or cause of death have yet been released.
