GRESHAM, Ore. — A storm that blew through much of Oregon and Southwest Washington on Wednesday brought thunder and lightning, pummeled some areas with marble-sized hail, and brought trees to the ground.
Many people shared photos and videos of what the storm looked like in their neighborhood and the damage that was left behind.
But one video taken in Gresham seems to have stood out from the rest.
The video was taken by Twitter user @BecShelleyy and shared by Richard Sewell. It shows a tree catch fire as it is suddenly struck by lightning. It occurred in the area of Northeast 162nd Avenue and San Rafael Street in Gresham.
