KEIZER, Ore. — If you have driven by the In-N-Out in Keizer, you've probably wondered when you can finally get a double-double?

A spokesperson with the company said they keep pretty tight-lipped about when they officially plan on opening. All they said is that it’s soon, but not this month.

Outside the drive-thru window, there’s a sign that hints at a December opening for the fast-food restaurant. There are also signs on the fence outside that say people can start applying for jobs.

Crews broke ground earlier this year on what’s going to be Oregon’s third location, and the closest one to Portland.

Even though the chain link fencing is still up, a contractor on site said there is power inside the building. The parking lot was paved last week.

While there’s a lot of excitement, some residents are concerned about how busy the area will get.

Sarah Vadecovering, who has lived in the area for the last 15 years, is worried about how the popularity of the of the fast-food chain is going to be a big headache for drivers traveling along the interstate.

Corporate might be quiet on when they open, but they typically make an announcement a day or so before.
