KEIZER, Ore. -- The planned In-N-Out Burger in Keizer is one step closer to breaking ground.

The City of Keizer on Wednesday posted on its Facebook page that the building permit has been issued for the burger joint and that construction "should be starting soon."

The Statesman Journal reported last month that construction was planned to begin on June 6. The restaurant will be located at Keizer Station, at 6280 Keizer Station Boulevard NE.

It’s still not clear when the In-N-Out will open.

The Keizer Station In-N-Out will be the franchise’s third location in Oregon, and its closest to the Portland metro area. The other two locations are in Medford and Grants Pass.
