PORTLAND, Ore. Nike and Wieden + Kennedy have recreated the toga party scene from "Animal House" that begins with the classic John Belushi guitar-smashing scene, only this time, it's Marcus Mariota grabbing the six-string.
The athletes at the toga party range from runners Galen Rupp and English Gardner to Nike exec Tinker Hatfield. Check out Kenny Wheaton, JJ Birden and Dan Fouts. Joey Harrington reprises the Boon character. The Duck plays singer Stephen Bishop who was cast as "Charming Guy With Guitar."
Harrington said watching the video now is bittersweet. It was shot the day after the Rose Bowl last year and was to have the first commercial to air had the Ducks beaten Ohio State for the national title.
He said his snippets took four to five hours to shoot, all worth it to be able to sing with Otis Day.
