June 18, 2007 Trail Blazers select Greg Oden as No. 1 draft pick
June 29, 2007 Portland welcomes No. 1 draft pick Greg Oden in a rally at Pioneer Courthouse Square that draws 10,000 fans.
September 14, 2007 Greg Oden's rookie year is wiped out after surgery on his right knee.
October 28, 2008 Greg Oden sprains his right foot during his NBA debut against the Lakers. He misses two weeks.
February 12, 2009 Greg Oden chips the kneecap on his left knee when he collides with Corey Maggette during a Warriors game.
During the 2008-2009 season, Greg Oden plays in 61 games, averaging 8.9 points and seven rebounds.
Oden became a regular starter in the 2009-2010 season. He averaged 11.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in that role until another injury cut the season short.
December 5, 2009 Soon after matching his career high for points (24 versus Chicago Nov. 23) and setting his career high for rebounds (20 versus Miami Dec. 1), Greg Oden gets hurt in a game against Houston, crashing to the floor with his kneecap fractured and visibly contorted. He has not played since.
October 31, 2010 Blazers announce they will not offer Greg Oden a contract extension. He was the first No. 1 pick since Kwame Brown not to get one at the end of his rookie contract. Oden will be a restricted free agent next summer and Portland will be able to match any offers for him.
