Washington vs. Michigan: How to watch 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship Game

NRG Stadium in Houston is the setting for the Huskies' first appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

HOUSTON — The Washington Huskies have arrived at the pinnacle of college football, with a chance to secure the school's first undisputed national championship.

The Huskies last claimed a national championship after the 1991 season, but the University of Miami also claims this season as national champions because they finished ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll. UW was first in the Coaches' Poll at season's end.

The College Football Playoff has put an end to any dispute over which team ends up winning the national title. UW defeated the University of Texas in the Sugar Bowl to advance to the CFP National Championship Game, while the University of Michigan qualified by beating Alabama in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.

Here's how Husky fans and western Washington residents alike can tune in for the finale of a thrilling college football season.
