SALEM West Salem High School rolled out its new turf Thursday and it s not like any other high school field in the country.
The school nicknamed its new field the Black Hole, and according to the athletic director, West Salem High is the first school in the country to use all black turf.
The school wanted artificial turf to match its red and black colors and got a deal from a company to do all black.
