CHEHALIS, Wash. (AP) -- A Toledo Wash. man who killed a goat and told deputies he was making a sacrifice to God pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and malicious mischief.
A Lewis County Superior Court judge sentenced 22-year-old Kameron D. Williams on March 5 to the two days in jail he'd already served and ordered a mental health evaluation.
The Chronicle reports deputies arrested Williams on Dec. 21 after he shot a goat with a bow and arrow and slit its throat. The goat named Betty was owned by his father who did not give permission to kill it.
