EVERETT, Wash. (AP) -- Snohomish County authorities have issued a $250,000 arrest warrant for an area rapper who claims to be a blind.

The Everett Herald reports the warrant for Wayne Frisby, who goes by the rap name of Mac Wayne, stems from a February armed robbery in which a woman's hair was lopped off. Authorities say Frisby and a woman robbed another woman's car in Marysville. He was arrested that same day and booked into jail, but bailed out.

Frisby was charged Thursday with first-degree robbery and drug possession. When he was booked in jail, he had methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin.

Detectives believe Frisby is in California and may head to Las Vegas.

Frisby claims to have lost his eyesight after being shot. He describes himself as the undisputed Ray Charles of rap, 100% blind and 100% raw.
