The tech giant recently posted a video highlighting what it might look like to watch an NFL game through HoloLens, its augmented reality device.

HoloLens presents some interesting ways to leverage AR when viewing a game, such as pulling up stats and fantasy scores you watch and view replays from any angle displayed on a table in front of users.

Or you can have players like Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch bust through your walls.

The HoloLens demo is among several examples of the use of virtual and augmented reality to transport fans onto the NFL playing field. This weekend's Super Bowl takes place in the tech-friendly haven of San Francisco.
