LONGVIEW, Wash. — One person was killed, and a pregnant woman and child were seriously injured in a crash in Longview on Wednesday night.
Washington State Patrol trooper Will Finn first reported about the crash at around 8:20 p.m. The crash occurred in the area of the Industrial Way and Douglas Street and involved two vehicles.
The pregnant woman and child were initially trapped in the car, Finn said. Once helped out of the vehicle, they were taken to the hospital, Finn said.
Longview police is asking people to avoid Industrial Way from Washington Way to Oregon Way.
An investigation is ongoing.
