GRESHAM, Ore. — A motorcyclist is dead after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening in Gresham.
The crash happened at Northeast 181st Avenue and Wilkes Road, shortly before 6 p.m.
Gresham police said traffic in both directions on 181st Avenue, between San Rafael and Interstate 84, would be closed as they investigate. Streets are now open.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stayed at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.
Police reported it was the 11th traffic fatality in Gresham this year.
