Man dead after being shot in Centennial neighborhood

No arrests have been made, according to the Portland Police Department.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man is dead after being shot in the Centennial neighborhood Friday. 

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 10:25 p.m. and found an injured man. He was transported to the hospital, but died, according to the Portland Police Bureau. Southeast 148th Avenue closed, between Southeast Woodward and Southeast Clinton streets, during the investigation. 

No arrests have been made as of Saturday. 

Police have identified him as Michael McFadden, 41, of Portland. His family has been notified of his death and asks for privacy at this time.
