21 year old dead after car crash outside of Hubbard

The 21-year-old passenger, Caleb Chaney, did not survive the crash, the sheriff's office said.

HUBBARD, Oregon — A 21-year-old man is dead after a crash outside of Hubbard early Saturday morning, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. 

Just after 12 a.m., someone called 911 to report a vehicle crash on the 11000 block of Broadacres Road. Emergency responders found a crashed blue Subaru Impreza upside down. 

The 21-year-old passenger, Caleb Chaney, did not survive the crash, the sheriff's office said. 

The 20-year-old driver, Lesley Sloan, was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Both were from Hubbard. 

Investigators from the Marion County CRASH team were called out to the scene. 

The Hubbard Fire Department, Marion County District’s Attorney’s Office, Marion County Medical Examiner’s Office, Marion County Public Works, METCOM 911 and Willamette Valley Communications Center helped Marion County Sheriff's Office respond.
