'We'll do this as long as people have a need': Vancouver couple helps feed medical workers

Feed the Front Lines Clark County is the latest effort to help medical workers during the COVID-19 crisis, while creating business for local restaurants.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — The effort to feed those working in hospital emergency rooms during the COVID-19 crisis is continuing, this time in Clark County.

Mike and Alice Terry started a Go-Fund-Me account called Feed the Front Lines Clark County. They're raising money to buy meals from local restaurants, which they deliver to local medical workers. Last week, Stardust Diner prepared the meals which went to staff at Providence Medical Group-Mill Plain

“The gratitude from these local medical professionals, it's just been through the roof,” said Mike Terry. “The sacrifices they're making with their families and beyond is just nothing short of remarkable… we'll do this as long as people have a need.”

On Thursday, Nuestra Mesa in Camas planned to cook 150 meals for the staff at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.
