Car crashes into kombucha taproom in SE Portland (video)

The crash was caught on camera. You can see in the video that an employee was sitting pretty close to where the car came through. Thankfully, nobody was injured.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A car crashed into the SOMA Kombucha Taproom on Southeast Belmont Street in Portland on Friday afternoon.

The crash was caught on camera. You can see in the video that an employee was sitting pretty close to where the car came through.

Nobody was injured.

John-Pierre Parent, the owner of SOMA Kombucha Taproom, said the damage could have been worse.

Parent said the garage door and track were damaged, there's chipped stone concrete brick outside the door, and the car crashed into a kegerator. He said he'll need to replace pillows and pads that now have glass embedded in them.

Portland police said no citations were issued.
