BEND, Ore. -- Police are looking for 24-year-old Sara Gomez who is missing from Bend.
On Sunday, the Bend Police Department released a photo of a vehicle of interest. They ask anyone who saw the vehicle between Sunday, February 18 and Wednesday, February 21, to please contact the police department at 541-693-6911.
The Redmond Police Department was first alerted to the woman's disappearance on Feb. 20. One of Gomez's friends told officers that she had not returned home for a few days. Redmond Police then contacted Bend Police.
Police have identified Gomez's former boyfriend, 31-year-old Brian Penner, as a person of interest in the case. On Feb. 21, officers searched his home and found evidence they believe to be linked to her disappearance.
Penner was taken into custody on charges of kidnapping, theft and a restraining order violation.
