It's that time of year again.

TEDxPortland returns to Keller Auditorium April 21. The 2018 lineup includes 20 speakers, performers and civic types (Portland's new Police Chief Danielle Outlaw will weigh in on "Humanity/Authority") who'll share insights into their worlds, and how attendees can make their own universes better.

The TEDxPortland program is independently organized. It launched in 2009.

The 2018 program features an "ideas booth" in which the public can themselves offer, and glean, new concepts. The booth, which sits at the Oregon Historical Society, allows users to record their ideas, in 90 seconds or less.

The person with the best idea will be selected to give a presentation at the TEDxPortland event.

Tickets for the program are on sale here. Click through for a look at this year's lineup of speakers, and what, in the words of organizers, they'll bring to the TEDxPortland 2018 table.
