PORTLAND, Ore. — A digital lottery for $10 tickets for every Portland performance of the award-winning musical "Hamilton" was announced Monday.
The lottery will happen prior to each performance of Hamilton during its run in Portland from March 20 through April 8. Forty orchestra tickets will be made available for every performance.
The digital lottery will open at 11 a.m. PST on Sunday, March 18, for the tickets to the Tuesday, March 20 performance. The lotteries for each subsequent performance will begin two days before each show at 11 a.m. and close at 9 a.m. the day before the performance.
The lottery option on the official app for Hamilton will go live March 18.

There is no cost to enter or participate in the lottery.
How will you know if you've won? Notifications will be sent to both the winner and non-winners at about 11 a.m. the day before the performance, via email or text. Lottery winners can purchase up to two tickets.
