Owners of older masonry buildings sue Wheeler, Saltzman
Owners of un-reinforced masonry are suing Mayor Ted Wheeler and Commission Dan Saltman. The upgrades are expensive and unaffordable to many owners. They must move out tenants while the work is going on. And here's the rub, says lawyer John DiLorenzo. Unless the work is done, owners must place a placard saying the building is unsafe.
