Gun control advocates frustrated over dropped legislation
Penny Okamoto, executive director for Ceasefire Oregon says she’s frustrated that two significant bills, one concerning gun control and the other concerning vaccine exemptions, were dropped in order to pass an education funding bill that would raise $2-billion for Oregon schools. Okamoto said it didn’t have to be an either/or situation where two bills had to be axed for one to pass.
