Things to do in and around Portland for the Fourth of July

If you’re looking for a parade, fireworks show, concert or any other event to attend this year on the Fourth of July, there are a number you can choose from.

Vancouver’s Fireworks Spectacular at Fort Vancouver will light up the sky again this year. The annual fireworks show will be held from 10:05 p.m. to 10:25 p.m. so make sure to pack a snack, bring a blanket and stake your spot to watch the largest fireworks show in the region.

Oaks Park’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular provides a fun-filled day for the whole family at Oaks Park. There will be picnic areas for families to BBQ, rides, live entertainment and a firework display at dusk. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. and end at midnight.

Join the city of Beaverton for their Fourth of July celebration and concert in the park at Veterans Memorial Park jam-packed with family-friendly activities, free hot dogs and ice cream. 

The Canby Independence Day Celebration starts with a pancake breakfast and turns into a street fair, parade and car show.  Fireworks are scheduled to go off at dusk. 

Corbett Fun Fest is a fun-filled day that includes a parade, live music, contests, food attractions, games, vendors and of course fireworks.

Estacada Timber Festival will begin at 10 a.m. with food, vendors, art booths, timber competitions, live music and ending with a firework show at 10 p.m. 

The Hillsboro Hops will host Spokane at 7:05 p.m., with a firework show after the game. 

Lake Oswego will host a Star-Spangled Parade and Celebration at Millennium Plaza Park. The celebration will close with an illuminated drone laser show starting at 9:45 p.m. 

The Portland Pickles will take on the Corvallis Knights in an all-day doubleheader at 1:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. ending in a firework show.

In St. Helens, celebrate the Fourth of July by tailgating or enjoying a walking or museum tours, live entertainment and food. End the day with a firework display over the Columbia River

Tigard will host the Middle of Millen Drive Parade beginning at 4 p.m.near Tigard High School and the entrance to Cook Park. The festivities end with a fireworks show at Cook Park starting between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. 

Yamhill County’s 4th of July Celebration will take place at Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum where you can enjoy family entertainment ending with a fireworks show at dusk. 

Waterfront Blues Festival kicks off on July 4 with local and national music acts. The festival goes through July 7 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park!
