If you’re wondering about the haze in our sky Tuesday, yes, it came from the California wildfires. A Wednesday wind shift should send the smoke east and south of Oregon.
Rain has reached the Oregon coast at this hour and will reach the Portland area in the early morning hours.
We’re only looking at scattered showers through the day Wednesday. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s.
After the showers end Wednesday, another longish dry spell begins.
Thursday and Friday bring morning fog with afternoon sun.
Over the weekend, east winds return for more sunny, cool weather.
It looks like the dry weather pattern will break down next week. At this point. I expect rain, some wind and finally some decent mountain snow as we head into the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Have a great Wednesday.
