More of the same today, mostly sunny skies with warm temperatures near 70 degrees and east winds blowing near the gorge and at times, picking up in the valley. Monday saw windy weather along the Columbia hold PDX to 68 degrees, where peak wind gusts reached 40 mph. Much of the region warmed to 70, including Newport at 77, Kelso 76 and Salem 76 degrees! The record high today at PDX is 73 degrees and depending on wind, we may be close.
East county will see constant windy weather today, with gusts averaging near 35 mph. Gorge winds will calm a bit Wednesday and be limited to immediate east county areas.
Dry weather will likely hold until the pm hours of Friday as an evening front arrives. Saturday showers will end for a dry Sunday with weekend temps close to normal for late March. Saturday snow levels may dip to 3,000 feet.
