Thickening clouds this morning, followed by possible showers by 10:00 a.m. into Portland and likely rain this afternoon as a front pushes inland. Clouds and rain will hold high temperatures in the mid 50s. Watch for gusty east winds near the Gorge this morning to 30 mph. Total rainfall for the Rose City .10 - .25 inches. The beach may see rainfall nearing .40 inches. Snow levels will start near 6,000 feet and lower to 4,000 feet this afternoon and 3,000 feet tonight.
Look for scattered showers and sunshine the next few days, followed by a dry Friday. Total rain amounts will be light and most days will see highs around 60 degrees. All and all, pleasant spring weather for late March.
