Sunny & warmer for Sunday, and not as humid

Your forecast from the KGW weather team, updated several times daily. This includes the outlook around Oregon and in Southwest Washington.

PORTLAND, Oregon — For the second day in a row thick cloud cover isn't going to allow us to warm up much. That's what we're seeing across the metro area today as temperatures are only in the low to mid 80s for daytime highs. Sunday will bring sunnier conditions and warmer temperatures with highs around 90 degrees.

Thunderstorms are still going to be in the forecast for Sunday afternoon, but they're going to stay along the eastside of the state.

Warm to hot weather continues for the first half of next week. We’ll likely see some showers or thunderstorms Wednesday, but there’s a better chance of widespread rain and cooler weather at the end of next week.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
