Metro rain totals yesterday averaged .02 - .25" across the region with PDX picking up .20 inches of rainfall. Today will see a mix of morning cloudiness followed by increasing sunshine with comfortable afternoon temperatures in the 70s. The forecast stays dry for Hood To Coast and through the weekend valley high temps near 80 degrees.
The exception to the weekend forecast will be Friday night and Saturday morning, when a weak weather system passes by to the north. It will likely bring low clouds and drizzle to the Coast Range and coast, so runners, may see a touch of moisture as they run overnight to the beach.
Hot temperatures return next week, as 90s in Portland will be likely Tuesday through Thursday.
