Flooding, landslides from heavy rains close roads around region

The Historic Columbia River Highway is closed just one mile west of Multnomah Falls due to a landslide.

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — Roads around the region have closed because of flooding and landslides triggered by heavy rains.

Clackamas County

Clackamas River Drive is closed between OR 213 and Springwater Road because of a landslide. Clackamas County had no ETA on when the road would reopen.

Telford Road between Rugg Road and Sunshine Valley Road near Boring is closed because of high water.

Multnomah County

Exit 41 at Eagle Creek on Interstate 84 is closed until at least Wednesday due to debris slide from heavy rainfall, ODOT said.

The Historic Columbia River Highway is closed just one mile west of Multnomah Falls due to a landslide. The highway will be closed until at least Wednesday, according to ODOT.
