Massive cruise ship Eurodam arrives in Seattle

It holds more than 2,100 passengers and requires 600 people to operate.

A massive Holland America cruise ship, the Eurodam, arrived at pier 91 in Seattle early Tuesday morning.

Carrying more than 2,100 passengers, the ship is docking after two weeks in Alaska.

It is expected to bring in $2.7 million to Seattle's economy in tourism.

The ship is one of 52 that has come to Seattle since cruise season kicked off. It runs through September. There are more than 200 cruise ships expected here throughout the season.

Like a floating city, the Eurodam has casinos, restaurants, art, and music. It takes about 600 people to keep the ship running.

The Eurodam's pinnacle room is the largest suite on board. It features a dining room, living room, shower and Jacuzzi tub, and a private patio. The room costs $8,000 per week to book. However, other rooms are available for less, and there's still time for families to book a cruise this season.
