PORTLAND, Ore. — A woman was seriously injured in a four-vehicle crash that closed Interstate 84 for about an hour Wednesday night.

The crash occurred shortly after 5 p.m. near 148th Avenue and involved four vehicles, including one semi-truck.

A woman was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to Portland police.

One lane of I-84 was reopened around 6:30 p.m.

The crash came during one of the busiest travel days of the year, as many people hit the road for Thanksgiving festivities.
