Overturned semi closes I-5 southbound for several hours north of the Oregon 34 Corvallis exit

A semi crashed on southbound I-5 north of the Oregon 34, Corvallis exit.

CORVALLIS, Ore. — A southbound semi truck overturned along a section of I-5 north of the Oregon 34 exit to Corvallis on Wednesday morning, closing the freeway for several hours.

A detour was established along 99E but traffic backed up nearly to the Oregon 20 exit in Albany while the wreck was cleared.

Oregon State Police reports that no other vehicles were involved in the crash and the driver of the semi was transported to a local hospital. Their condition was not available.
