WOODBURN, Ore. — One person died in a three-vehicle crash that closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 5 just south of Woodburn Friday evening, the Oregon State Police said.
Norma Palacios, 59, of Keizer was driving northbound in a Toyota Corolla when the crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. The driver changed lanes near milepost 270 and collided with two other vehicles.
Palacios died from injuries sustained in the crash. No one in the other two vehicles were injured.
I-5 northbound was closed more than two hours as authorities investigated the crash. One lane had reopened by 8:15 p.m.
