PORTLAND, Ore. — We’ve all been cut off, we’ve all had someone in front of us slam on the breaks in heavy traffic.
Now imagine trying to stop on a dime, while driving a 20-ton steel can loaded with standing passengers. Such is the life of a TriMet bus operator. They’re always watching out for the other guy, while keeping themselves, their passengers, and the bus safe, and on time.
