TUALATIN, Ore. — One person was seriously hurt in a two-car crash in Tualatin on Tuesday evening. The crash closed the on-ramp from Southwest Lower Boones Ferry Road to southbound Interstate 5.

According to Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, the driver of a sedan was rushed to a Portland hospital after the crash with an SUV around 4:30 p.m.

No one inside the SUV was seriously injured.

Tualatin police blocked off eastbound traffic on Lower Boones Ferry Road during their investigation. 

The road was reopened by 5:50 p.m.

The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
