Greg Olsen says he's on his way to a 'full recovery' after foot surgery

The Panthers' veteran tight end recently underwent surgery to repair a foot injury he suffered against Tamp Bay.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Don't put Greg Olsen out to pasture just yet.

The Panthers' veteran tight end posted on Instagram Monday night that he's recovering from surgery after re-injuring his right foot against Tampa Bay earlier this month.

"Surgery went well and I am on my way towards a full recovery," Olsen posted.

Olsen's post also featured his custom cleats featuring his The HEARTest Yard charity. Throughout December, players across the NFL have worn cleats showcasing charities of their choosing.

In nine games this season, Olsen caught 27 passes for 291 yards and four touchdowns.
