Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch may have just made his retirement announcement with single emoji and a blurry photo posted to Twitter.

Rumors of a possible retirement swirled after Lynch missed the final seven regular season games and carried the ball just six times for 20 yards in Seattle’s Divisional Round loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

“Beast Mode,” just 29, may have confirmed the rumors with a tweet posted during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 50.

He tweeted a photo of cleats hanging on a wire and a “peace” emoji. Is the five-time Pro-Bowler hanging up the cleats?

Lynch would be the second high-profile early retirement this offseason. All-Pro receiver Calvin Johnson told the Lions he would retire at the age of 31.
