“That shot gave me goosebumps,” Zedan Hattar said. “I was like, there's no way he's making that shot and he drained it. It was right in front of us too.”

Ramzy Hattar was able to share the moment with his 13-year-old son Zedan. They sat four rows from the hardwood and caught the final shot on camera.

“It was one of the best games I've ever been to,” Zedan said.

“The energy was amazing and what Lillard did was amazing,” Ramzy said. “To be there and witness it was pretty cool.”

While Zedan says he is a Russell Westbrook fan, he is giving some love to Lillard after witnessing that final shot.

“That was, for sure, one of the best performances I've ever seen,” Zedan said. “And I have all my respect for Damian Lillard.”

“He was amazed he fell in love with Lillard last night too,” Ramzy said.

KGW caught up with the two at Beaumont Middle School in Portland Wednesday where Zedan says his classmates can't stop talking about the epic game.

“That was a great shot. That's going down in history,” he said.

While the stands erupted with excitement at the MODA Center, fans back at Ramzy's bar, River Pig Saloon, were feeling the frenzy as well.

“Watching it at the stadium or even on TV, in the bar – that energy is all the same. Everyone was cheering,” Ramzy said. “Whether you were cheering for The Blazers or not it was amazing.”
