PORTLAND, Ore. — CJ McCollum's name has been a popular one in NBA trade rumors the past couple weeks, but the Portland Trail Blazers have no intention of trading their star shooting guard.

The Oregonian's Joe Freeman, citing "a source with knowledge of the Blazers' deadline thinking," reported Wednesday that "McCollum is not — and never will be — going anywhere."

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at noon PT. (Story continues below)

Blazers general manager Neil Olshey said at the end of last season that McCollum and backcourt mate Damian Lillard were off-limits in any trade discussions. It appears nothing has changed.

ESPN's Zach Lowe reported Monday that sources say Portland has rejected any inquiries from other teams about McCollum and Lillard.

According to multiple reports, the Blazers have talked with the Clippers about center DeAndre Jordan, though their interest in Jordan has cooled recently. Portland is also shopping Maurice Harkless and Meyers Leonard, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Mannix. Lowe wrote that Harkless is a "player to watch" at the deadline.
