PORTLAND, Ore. – A Portland pot shop is taking sides this election season, with a “Burn One for Bernie” campaign.

The owner of Foster Buds, which has two dispensaries, said it will donate 10 percent of sales from every $10 "Farmer 12" joint to the Bernie Sanders campaign.

Store manager Ken Martin said the local business wants Sanders to know he has their support, due to his policies on legalizing marijuana.

“Everything he's looking to do is for the betterment of us. He’s looking to keep the medical community, he sees the advancements – so why not support him?” Martin said.

The business, which has pot shops in both northeast and southeast Portland is also giving away "Burn One for Bernie" T-shirts.
