Police identify two victims in fatal shooting at Salem bar

Police identified the two men killed as 24-year-old Tobias Helms-Reese and 21-year-old Tyler Longacre, both of Salem.

SALEM, Ore. -- Two men were killed and another was injured in a Salem shooting early Saturday morning.

Police identified the two men killed as 24-year-old Tobias Helms-Reese and 21-year-old Tyler Longacre, both of Salem. The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office said autopsies confirmed both men died from a gunshot wound.

Marion County deputies were called just before 2:30 a.m. to the report of a shooting at Bar Fly’s, at 444 Lancaster Drive Northeast.

At the scene deputies found two victims with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospitals, where one died. A short time later a third shooting victim was found dead in the parking lot of a nearby clinic.

Police did not release the name or condition of the surviving victim.
