RIDGEFIELD, Washington — A horse trailer came unhooked from the truck that was towing it on Interstate 5 near Ridgefield, Wash., on Tuesday, causing both the trailer and the truck to flip. Two horses inside the trailer suffered minor injuries but were able to break free.

The crash, which happened in the southbound lane near the Gee Creek rest area, has caused traffic delays on both sides of the freeway in the area.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a veterinarian is at the scene, and both horses from the trailer are out and walking. One has a cut on its leg.

Police advise commuters to expect delays.
