PORTLAND, Ore. – A southern Oregon man was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing two teenagers in Washington County.
One of the alleged victims is a developmentally disabled girl who the suspect, 38-year-old Rusty Hendrickson, met on social media, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims. The investigation began in June, when sheriff’s deputies received a tip that Hendrickson, who lives in Sutherlin, had sexual contact with the teen girl. During their investigation, Washington County detectives learned Hendrickson sexually abused another teen girl, investigators said.
Hendrickson was arrested on Dec. 9 and taken to the Douglas County Jail. He faces three counts of second-degree sex abuse and three counts of third-degree sex abuse. He has since posted bail and has been released.
Hendrickson will face those charges in Washington County.
