WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore — Two drivers, including a sheriff’s deputy, were hospitalized after a crash in Washington County on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Northwest Glencoe Road and Wren Road, south of North Plains, at around 3 p.m.

Jordan Cutts, 24 of Forest Grove was driving northbound on Glencoe Road when he crossed into the southbound lanes to make a right turn onto Wren Road and crashed head-on into a Washington County Sheriff's Office vehicle driven by Deputy Frank Warren, according to a preliminary investigation. 

Medics took both drivers to hospitals with serious injuries.

The intersection was closed for three and a half hours, according to Oregon State Police.
