Lillard survived his injuries. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office said it appeared Lillard did not provoke his attackers and the shooting appeared to be targeted, based on witness statements and surveillance video.

Jessie appeared in court on Monday. He faces charges including three counts of attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault and seven counts of unlawful use of a weapon. His bail was set at $820,000.

It's not clear if Campbell has been charged in connection with the shooting of Lillard.

Suspects wanted for multiple shootings

Both Jessie and Campbell were suspects in separate shootings in Portland, investigators said.

Portland police said Jessie was involved in a shooting on March 12 in Northeast Portland, where there was an exchange of gunfire between a suspect inside a vehicle and a group of people outside a business on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. No one was hurt, but several cars and a building were damaged by gunfire.

Campbell was arrested for an armed robbery and shooting in North Portland on March 8, police said. Police found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot and wounded in the 6600 block of Northeast Flanders Street. The boy survived.

Detectives said the shooting occurred during a planned cellphone sale, which turned into a robbery, and later developed probable cause to arrest Campbell.
