PORTLAND, Oregon — How is your liquor cabinet holding up in quarantine? Is it empty by now? Or do you have some bottles left, but you don't know what to do with them?

If you haven't picked up enough new skills while social distancing, here's one more. It's your chance to become the mixologist you've always dreamed of. Or at least learn how to make one or two fancy drinks.

Quaintrelle has launched DIY cocktail kits available for pickup, which include ingredients to make one of the restaurant's most popular drinks. You can choose the "Annabel Lee" or "Three Sunsets," and the kits contain everything but the booze - you provide your own. The kits even come with big, square ice cubes to pour your drinks over.

If you're nervous about being able to make it when you get the ingredients at home, don't worry. Quaintrelle's bar manager, Camille Cavan, is making one drink every Friday live on Instagram at 1 p.m.

I got one of the kits, and attempted making the "Annabel Lee" at home, and it worked! Did I make a mess? Definitely. But did it taste delicious? Also yes! And the giant ice cube was so satisfying.

Here's what come in each Quaintrelle Cocktail Kit, for $20:

- Syrups created by Camille Cavan

- Garnishes

- Citrus

- Recipes for your home cocktail

- One sleeve of fancy ice cubes courtesy of PDX ICE

Right now, the kits are only available for pickup from Quaintrelle on N Mississippi (you can order lunch or dinner to pickup while you're at it). You can order your own by calling the restaurant, or emailing info@quaintrelle.co. The restaurant says the kits will also be available for delivery soon on Caviar.
