Sarah Yates, 17, is a senior at Sam Barlow H.S. and has contributed over 1,000 volunteer hours in her community. Sarah maintains a 3.96 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society, a feature writer for her school newspaper, and is President of the Key Service Club at Barlow.
She organizes community projects for the club such as a successful drive to collect 200 pair of gently-used jeans for teens in need. Major volunteer activities, which she performs weekly include:

Gresham Manor Retirement Home where she assists the elderly with personal computer and technology issues, such as: printing, Facebook, email, iPhones, iPads. Zarepath s Soup Kitchen Server setting up and serving hot meals to homeless.
