BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Beaverton that temporarily closed Tualatin Valley Highway on Sunday afternoon.

Beaverton Police received a call about a DUII driver in the area of Murray Boulevard at 11:49 a.m. When officers arrived, the driver in question had already crashed their vehicle near Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Southwest 160th Avenue.

The suspect driver was taken to the hospital. Several other people were injured and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said Beaverton Police Officer Jeremy Shaw.

Shaw said police are investigating this as a DUII crash but they have not yet made an arrest.

The eastbound lane of SW Tualatin Valley Highway was closed for less than an hour during the investigation, but has since reopened.
