KELSO, Wash. — A Kelso High School student was arrested for bringing a loaded gun to school Thursday, police said.
The 17-year-old boy had the gun in his backpack. School officials found the gun during an unrelated investigation, according to Kelso police.
The school's resource officer arrested the boy. His name will not be released because he is a minor.
There are no further threats to anyone at the school, police said.
